Take Me To Your Spot: Chris Bianco @ F&F Restaurant and Bar

The legendary pizzaiolo takes us to his ideal Brooklyn joint, where everything—from the food to the vibe—"quenches his thirst"

If you're a pizza fan—and who isn't?—then Chris Bianco is a man who needs no introduction. From his iconic Chef's Table episode to the New York Times dubbing his pizza "the best pizza in America" to earning the nickname "The Yoda of Pizza," he's both mastered the art form and cemented himself into the consciousness of food fans from coast to coast. When Chris, a native of the Bronx, is back in town, he makes a point of swinging by F&F Restaurant and Bar to see his pals The Franks, legends in their own right (a duo who Chris just might have happened to have taught the fine art of pizza making), and to of course indulge in their rustic Italian-American cuisine. "It's like Gatorade," Chris says of the spot. "It quenches my thirst." No wonder he threw his Chef’s Table wrap party here a few years ago.

Last week, on the eve of headlining the second F&F Pizza Sessions, Chris took us to dinner and showed us the ropes. Tap in and pay with Blackbird, and steal Chris' order below.

CHRIS' ORDER: Sette Anne Peppers; Finocchiona Salami; Veal bolognese Arancini; Spinach-ricotta gnudi; Rhode Island Squid A La Plancha; Wild boar and ricotta calzone; Amalfi Lemon/red onion pie with fontina and Sicilian pistachios; Shrimp pie
